Damm that was a littel stresfull i'm not gona lie.
And in US you do this every time?

Ahaha, much agreed. Thankfully now that I've found a dentist who takes my insurance, it's gotten easier. And thankfully I've not had additional emergencies. Some folks aren't so lucky, which is why I wanted to make this game.

browser version is busted, can't do shit on chrome, buttons decide to work or not work at random

Thanks for the heads up, I'll look into it!
Though I will also note that some of the buttons don't work intentionally, depending on the choice.

I just noticed some of them were inconsistent, unless that is also a design thing, in which case I am sorry I mistook that, like the "are you in school or employed" chooses its own hours

No worries! It is a bit confusing since it's not something people commonly do with these games. Either way, thank you for letting me know so I can double check it. :)

this is painfully relatable i hate insurance i hate the medical system and i hate the us.

thank you.

Aaa thank you! Reviews like this really help me feel like I did the right thing making this game.

I'm right there with you, absolutely hating it. I'm glad that we're able to have solidarity, even if it's terrible that we're subjected to this kind of situation.

I needed this VN so bad right now, thanks for making it.

I'm going through what dentists keep telling me is a 'mouth emergency' but they keep sending me off to places who won't do anything asap even though they say my jaw is at serious risk. I live in a more populated part of the US and it's still hard to find people who take medicaid/national insurance who isn't booked for almost a year or are an hour or more away. i hope your mouth is doing okay and mine will be soon.

Oh no! Someone else I know is also going through it, since apparently they need a more advanced kinda dentist. It's really good to hear from others...even though we shouldn't really have to be in this situation in the first place!

I'm glad for the solidarity, but sorry we've both been in this kind of situation. Thankfully I've been doing much better recently. Fingers crossed yours gets sorted soon.

Even though I live on forcefully-taken territories (Canada), this still rings true even for those who do not have dental coverage. I know the pain of trying to access healthcare in rural/isolated regions. Thank you for making this!

I'm sorry that you understand but I'm glad to not be alone! The tooth issue prompted me to look up what folks in Alaska and other isolated places do and made me wish that travelling doctors (or in this case, dentists) were more common! Thank you for the kind comment.

Man, this sure is a horror story. Glad you're alive, MysteryCorgi!

Thank you, I am glad to have survived!
And also, wow, what an appropriate username+icon for the game's topic!
